file the SEGA Mark III was made shortly after SEGA SG-1000. The SEGA Mark III could be defined as a Masters System with sound FM. The main difference between Japanese Mark III and the Masters System of the U.S.A. is the external design. Although it had sticks it of his great size, this console already had games of quite acceptable graphs and sound to be of 1983. In the screen of the right you can observe the cover of a jueo of Mark III, programmed by SEGA in 1985. Mark III can be considered as the immediate predecessor of the Masters System and I personally think that this was the best one of first consoles of SEGA, since in the Masters System the only that did SEGA was to reduce their size and to extend a little the technical capacities of Mark III turning it a specific system for games.
